Christina Michael, M.D., FACC is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, as well as fellowship trained in Heart Transplant and Advanced Heart Failure.
Dr. Michael sees patients with all stages of cardiovascular disease and has special interest in heart failure and valvular heart disease, as well as preventive cardiology. She also has advanced training in cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Michael earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL before completing her Residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, also in Miami. She continued her residency and fellowship training at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA, serving as Chief Fellow during her final year.
In addition to Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, Dr. Michael is recognized by the National Board of Echocardiography for Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography and is certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS®).
